Last year I popped for 4 of the Triple X board transport bags and have been very happy with them. Great bang for the buck. They have great padding in the bags and are insulated so the boards don't warp.
The down side is they obviously don't work while in the racks but since I was so happy with the bags I decided to go with their socks. I got 2 x 4'6" socks for my skimmers and a 5'0" for my doomswell. These socks are great quality and have awesome tip cushion for extra protection from dings. I kinda wish I had gotten 3 of the 5'0" as that would have given more room for the fins but overall I'm really pleased. I got the bags and socks all off of ebay really cheap. Just thought I would throw out a non solicited review if any of you are looking for travel bags or socks. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161026/dccef7adade5e8ef8c1ac8be02fe2ca2.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161026/a9d7bb2b2b8b2b85e3c659bbabe1014d.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161026/0b1dc8dfe82c01e629bed788231ec460.jpg

Seems like a great price on eBay. Compared to the name brands...

How well do they work in the board racks?

Triple X is actually a pretty well known and respected brand, just not a phase5, ronix, or hyperlite type brand. I test fit them in the racks this morning and good to go. The skim was a tight fit in the wakeboard rack (where I normally keep them) but still went in fine. The surfboard holder for the Doomswell was perfect. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161027/e9d3871eac6ee4189ef1b2e806f00655.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161027/55d149cfbda6a7bd8bdba6d9cae4c7c6.jpg
