I purchased 1x unit of 12"x24"x1/2" HDPE from Amazon. With careful layout and cutting you can create one complete gate. I can PM my detailed layout PDFs if desired.

I have done a couple different designs and I keep going back to my original design which yields a 7"x10" wedge at around 110*

Interesting! Does yours angle forwards toward the wave instead of the others that angle rearward or am I looking at it incorrectly?

This is the swell wakesurf

Angles backwards similar to a ghetto gate design.

I thought the optimal blade dimensions were 6 x 9

I designed my first around the 7" x 10" from reading many many threads about the Suk Gates. I have tried several other designs, including my last which was tapered 5" to 7" along the length by 12" long. It was asymmetrical, thinking it would do more for the regular wave, however, it made it very difficult to dial in the wave, increased the rooster spray, and ultimately made the pocket so finicky even experienced riders struggled. I am going back to my original design and I'm going to quit messing with it!

Here is the layout, allows for you to get all pieces needed out of one 12"x12" piece of StarBoard HDPE. My original is made entirely from 1/2" material and moves slightly on the suction handle, however, it works flawlessly under load.

My revised design uses 3/4" thick material for the mount section and 1/2" for the actual wedge (7"x10" piece). Just a little more polished. Everything is held together with coated deck screws 2 1/2" long, feel free to substitute stainless at your wallet's discretion.

I guess depends on boat size

My 4x6 angled suck gate at 45 degrees. Worked great on a tige z1 21 fter

Not so much on the 23xlv Going to have to increase size
