Several people including wolfeman131, jeamk03 and brettLee3232, have indicated they have plumbed in their side seat ballast bags. They describe some details which I appreciate, but I have a few questions. I am interested in more detailed info as to how it is best done.

I have 1100 bags in the back, but with no lower fittings, only one lower and two upper.
So I will need to "T" off the fill line. My questions include:

When you "t" off the fill line, did you change the factory fitting on the end of the fill hose? Or just add fittings to the factory female fitting to effect a "T"?
Did you use a T fitting or a Y"?
Did you run the hose to the side seat bag under the locker bag, or around the side, or some other direction?

For the side seat bag, do you vent the air the first few times, have it raisin when empting, then have no vent? Or what do you do with the overflow from the seat bag? "t into the locker overflow line, or route the seat bag over flow back into the locker top side fitting?

Any other tips?

Thanks. I thought one public post would be better than separate private emails.

Here's a pretty crappy picture of the "t". I tried to run it to the side of the bag and put a 90 in at the end of the 1100 to the the piggyback bag. So far, haven't seen any issue with bag sitting on the hose. I used the premium hose.

I bled the air out of piggyback bag the first time. Then I closed the vent and just let the 1100 vent. No overflow from piggyback bag needed. Just from 1100.

Here are some details from my install.

Don't use a check valve on the ibs as some have felt that this caused a failure to the center hard tank.

I followed wolfeman's thread on mine. This is my thread though.

Not really any useful info though.

I did the TEE and then looped the vent back into the larger bag so the fill time might potentially be quicker after the smaller one fills.
