new member. just purchased a 07 moomba lsv with 290 hrs from a good friend of mine that his kids have all grown up and they r thru with wakeboarding. took the boat out this weekend it ran great. it has a OJ 13.7x17.5 prop. when we weighted it down to wake surf it is slow getting out of the hole. im going to buy a new prop for it and was thinking about a OJ 14.25x14.5 or a acme #1433. any suggestions or help would b appreciated. Thanks n advance.

I prefer Acme props, I have had better experiences with them.

If you want to have a really nice do anything prop, can't go wrong with a 1433 Acme.

If you want to run serious ballast for surfing and wake boarding and don't mind top end being slower around 32-35 then the Acme 2017 is a great prop as well. I have ran all three props in this thread on my last 08 LSV

Nettles is a great source. Bought a new prop from them this morning (unfortunately)

I have a 1433 I might consider letting go. Plan on digging it up this week

Yep...

First time on the wrong side of the channel marker he was able to save it. Second time not so much.

Not sure why I sold my spare 1433 since we hit a lot of crap in the river. I'll be keeping this one..:D

thanks for all the replies. just talked to JT at nettles and ordered a prop from him. great guy. another question i have is the ballast bags were taken out of this boat but the plumbing and switches are still there. u can turn on the fill pumps and hear the pumps running and the lights r on on the switches but no water is coming thru the hoses. any suggestions with what to check.

In the V drive is the main valve to the pumps for water inlet, I would assume that's closed.
