I know a lot of you may have seen some early leaks from boating magazine but here are some videos and photos we wanted to share with you from the shoots. We will be releasing some teaser video clips and photos on our social media channels so be sure to watch and follow.

After selling our Mobius LSV earlier this summer we are leaning towards a new Helix for next year- I need to see one in person because I am undecided on the front end. In some pictures the front end looks awkward and other pictures it looks okay. We will be buying from Lauderdale Lakes..

Brad,

Lauderdale has the Helix in stock, should you want to visit and check it out.

If you decide to purchase from Lauderdale Lakes, I'll say that they were great to work with from a sales perspective. From a service perspective, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I've heard some real good things about that Helix surf wave.

Is the helix replacing mondo?

No the Helix does not replace the Mondo. I have heard they will have multi lines under moomba in the future maybe. The lower price point Helix and other boats and the more expensive Mondo, Craz, MOJO. It seems most boat manufacturers are going this route. Master Craft will have 3 lines this year NXT, XT, and X. Malibu has Axis, (LSV, VLX), and MKX. This is all just speculation from dealers and some of us looking for new 17 boats. As with a Mondo I was worried if I should trade out before end of year if it was getting replaced.

Seems like a good idea to have these lower price point boats..especially for someone like me who lives in WI - talking the wife into spending $70-90k on something we can only use 3 months out of a year is difficult! Right after I convince her I need a new snowmobile for the 2-3 trips I take each winter! :D

I'm in the same boat, lol with a car that is rear wheel drive and summer only tires. She does enjoy driving it too, so that helps.

Yea, that's all I got. It was a late 2016 release for sure.

I doubt there is much, if any, change but it's def a good question. I'm thinking either a knowledgable dealer or someone from SC will have to answer it, though, as there aren't a lot of them out and about.

The 16s came out in April and have a fusion stereo like the other models. The 17s (Helix only) have the new kicker head unit & the AutoWake.

As far as I know that is it. Oh and maybe graphic change but I don't think so.

The 16 helix in the link above is kicker.

And to clarify on the helix only piece ... that is in reference to kicker head unit. I understand it as all models have auto wake.

Is it a 2017 Helix? If it is, then you'll get AutoWake

Sweet .. I'll make sure to keep everyone filled in on how well the autowake works on my new 2017 helix

For Clarity. Autowake is an option on Moomba for 2017 for all models. Will retro to 2016 Helix only, due to the new screen on the 2016 Helix.

2017 Helix changes from 2016 were very minimal.

For the curious... What is does "minimal" mean?
