Someone posted pictures of a "ghetto" surf gate they had made. It mounted on the swim platform, between the platform and back of boat, then a hinged piece was angled out past the hull. Can you please post again so I can copy for my 2013 LSV? I have about 1" between the swim platform and transom, so I thought about sliding a piece of wood over the platform bracket, the installing a hinge and board to it.
The other idea is to simply have the board stick out past the side of the boat about 10-12".
