I posted a while ago about hte boat stopping:

https://forum.moomba.com/showthread.php?28292-Any-help-on-what-may-have-happened

We tried to go out tonite, got to the dock, and had two things:

1) The dash will not light up, seems dead
2) The engine will crank but not turn over

I see plenty of issues on each topic individually, but not many together. Any ideas on what I should be looking at? The thread https://forum.moomba.com/showthread.php?28319-98-Moomba-Outback-solenoid-dash-electrical-issues

seems to point at the started, but I dont know why that would impact the dash. Any help on where to look would be appreciated.

I know you checked the battery cables, but I would say it could be a bad ground. Try removing the black one and cleaning the inside of the terminal to make sure it makes good contact.

You check your kill lanyard?

I told the 17 year old he needed to help weed the yard, or fix the boat. The boat is now fixed :)

There was a loose wire connecting the ignition and the back of the dashboard where the switches are. We connected/tightened that.. the dash lit up and the boat turned over.

Thanks for the suggestions.
