View Full Version : Getting crushed on the TS360

The TS360 seems to be a brutal trick to learn.
I hang onto that rope and either slammed into a whiplash backsplat (too late on the handle pass) or I take it in the face (made the handle pass).
I am going to get some video so that everyone can have a good laugh at my expense.
I always think I have it and then SLAM! hahaha
Anyone else feel this way about this trick?

Let's see the video! How do you have your SC weighted? I just got mine and haven't tried anything wake yet.

ahh - weighting the SC:
wakeboarding:
Back compartments filled: 1000lb each side (250lb hard + 770lb flex)
Middle hard tank filled: 400lb
IBS filled 500lb.
Fat sac or fat friends sit up front: need at least 300 and prefer 500lbs in the very front to get that nose down.
wakeplate: down to plane it and up to ride it.

Surf:
same set up except drain 50% of weight from the offset side in back.

i forgot to mention on the surf set up....
wakeplate 50%
surf setting is skim. always skim -- barrell setting doesnt seem to work well.

Let's see that wake! Can't say in UT (5600') mine will plane with that weight. So is this everything stock then add the bow weight? I was wondering how the true stock weight is and you might have helped.

I got the video but it's in the apple movie format so I have to figure out how to get a link and post it.
On my first try i just barely slipped out after making a clean handle pass so on my second try I know im going to make it and then I got throttled. This one is cruel.

Got my first session behind the SC today and WOW! I could only go 85% rear and 100% front but the wake was legit. Can't wait to play a little more with this wake.

I saw the pics -- looks great - plus you have the big engine and the new surf assisted planing so you should be able to get up and moving nicely.

The launch feature is night and day with getting on plane.

I'd be happy to help ya on the toe 3. Post up some video.

The thing I see the most is spinning too fast and over rotating. That's why so many riders skip toe 3 and go straight to toe 5.

I should be able to get back on the water in about 10 days. I will go for a few TS360s and get some good video.
I am going to change the edge and crouch down a bit more trying to explode up instead of using the tall edge.

I got this one down now ;). Nailed it both times I tried it this weekend.
The key for me to was to not look back towards the boat after the handle pass.
Looking back to the boat was causing me to do a toeside 430 to whiplash.
