Hey guys, got my Mojo yesterday and stoked for it. Took it out today and the had trouble with the surf wave, but think i might have it figure out. Two questions I have about it

1. How many lbs is the center tank?

2. Will the Auto Surf plates only deploy if you switch it to a side?

3. Does using the opposite Surf plate, make it deploy on the other side?

I'm not a mojo owner but, I think I can help you out.
1. I believe it is the same ballast setup as my craz, which is 700 in the center but it overflows into the ibs if you have one. Do you have one?

2. Yes the autoflow plates only deploy when you flip the switch.

3. Yes, the plate on the opposite side of the boat deploys.

I have a 2016 MOJO as well. 1100 lb bags in the lockers and a 600 lb IBS as well. 4300lbs of total ballast which leaves 1500 lb stock ballast tank. I found if I fill everything up and put my surf tabs at Port side setting of 50 - 60% it has the best wake. I'm going out Saturday morning and gonna play with leaving the starboard side tank like at 80-90% full and play with the trim tab at half or all the way up and see if that gives me a better push. But as described before I had a really nice wave with that settings. But I'm 6'0 and 230 lbs so I need a bigger wave and board to keep me on top of the water lol. Hope this helps a little

No way that the center tank is 1500lbs. Anyone else verify?

I'd like to know how the 4,300lbs of total ballast was determined. Based on his post, he took 1,100 + 1,100 + 600 and subtracted that total of 2,800 from 4,300. But we don't know where he came up with 4,300.

I've never heard of a Mojo having a center tank of 1,500.

the stock center tank is 700lbs, factory lockers are 650lbs, factory ibs is 500 lbs. SC stated surf edition has 2500 lbs factory ballast. On our 15 mojo I ran close to 4000 lbs 3400lbs liquid and 520 lbs of pop. hull can handle more too. really nice wave at 4000lbs.

Okay what does the port 0 mean and 70 mean while surfing? I also get this error code every time I start the boat?

Just call your dealer, they will be able to tell you what that particular fault code means and whether it needs to be addressed or not.

You can google it and it will reference the owners manual.

That means the surf tabs are deployed at 70% starboard side, for port side surfing.
check your switch for surfing to make sure it is centered.
I think that is a common fault code and you can ignore it.

From Engine Nut in March
SPN 707 FMI 3

The trouble code SPN 707 FMI 3 is a low oil level code. Check your oil level. If it is OK, check to make sure the oil level switch on the side of the oil pan is plugged in. The ECM sets the code if it detects an open circuit at the level switch about 20 seconds after the engine is turned off.

So your telling me this who time when I set the tabs for say like 50-port and 60-starboard it's not deploying to that because I flipped the switch to surf port?

I assumed I had to in order to deploy the tabs.

I am not following your grammar.
Push the surf switch toward the direction you want to surf. On the vessel settings scroll down to the side you are surfing on, port or starboard, depending on which way you moved the switch, then use the return button to scroll up the percent tab deployment. 70% on each side is not a bad choice.
You have to choose one side or the other.
This is probably mentioned in the owners manual.

I was assuming that both tabs were deployed when you surfed one side.

ok
No, if you surf to port, only the starboard tab will deploy to the percent you set on the gauge. Vice versa for the other side.
