Wake Plate stopped working

I had my 100 hour service done on Friday and took the boat out on Sunday, wedding on Saturday. Everything worked great for 3 hours until we started heading back, under threat of thunder storms. I was emptying ballast and heading back to the marina and tried to put the wake plate down and the gauge was stuck about 50% up and wouldn't budge. I've read that there is a linkage between the ballast pumps and the wake plate but I can't remember if the pumps stopped working or not.

Any input on where to start trouble shooting?

Went to the marina and everything worked fine. I guess running all three pumps and trying to trim simultaneously is a no-no.
