Hey guys, my stock ballast fill pump in my outback, a rule 2000 aerator, isnt operating well and Im going to replace it. Has anyone replaced theirs with an attwood tsunami? Im looking at installing a T1200 part number 4663-1. Problem is, it has a 1 inch inlet and I think my factory ball valve is 3/4-I think. If anyone can verify that, it would be awesome. Or would I be better off using a tsunami T800 with a 3/4 inch inlet? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

The Rule is a great pump but you will be happier if you put a "T" above your thru hull and run two Tsunami 1200 pumps in it's place. Your 3/4" scupper can give them all they want and you will see reduced fill times.

Look at these threads:

Sorry Kane I disagree... I had a 1" inlet feeding a T to two T-1200's with all 1" lines and one would always overpower the other if filling at the same time. I imagine 3/4" would be just as bad or worse. I ended up drilling more holes to have 1" individual thru hulls to feed each T-1200 to keep them from getting too parched. The T-1200's are nice and compact and definitely push a lot of water.

Had thought about bumping up to a 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" thru hull and hardware instead but it's so damn big nothing would fit.

EDIT:
Doh- just saw you linked to one of my old threads. Yes, I learned from that and modified accordingly.

Well, I still have my original thru hull with the T and two Rule 2000 pumps feeding my manifold. This fills one side and my front and mini-IBS. On the other side I have two new thru hulls each with its own Tsunami 1200. They fill my regular side 750 in under 5 min. Great pumps.
