Looking to maybe upgrade from a 2010 LSV to a 2016 Mojo. What are some advantages would I be looking at? RIght now I have my LSV decked out with 1100's and IBS, would the wake be any bigger for boarding or surfing?

The change in the hull of the new Mojo vastly improved the wake board wake especially at lower speeds. Mojo has always out preformed the LSV on surf but will take ALOT more weight.

I've been very impressed with the wakeboard wake. I love it with weight and a lip, it can be toned down without the lip, and as mentioned above, the low speed wake has been good for our daughter. Surf wave is solid and easy to get going either side pretty quickly. For a great wave, it's going to take more than 1100s and ibs.

I think you would see an increase in cabin space and bow along with a noticeable change in freeboard.

What's important to you?

*wake above is at 18.7 mph. 60-65 line length. Plate partially up for some added lip.

I guess one thing I am looking for is a bigger wake. I feel right now my wake is max out. More room would be nicer for sure. You ever use the Auto Surf? A lot of them I see are equipped with that? How much more weight are we talking to throw a good wave? 1100 isn't enough?

I will chime in...

You have 2010 LSV which isn't much difference than my 2013. I have ridden on a ton of boats in the last few years, and I have to say I am never let down when I get back in my Moomba. Analog gauges and all. I had the same debate with myself at this years boat show.
-I loved the new look and hull design of Mojo and the amount of free board.
-Had a few more bells and whistles than my LSV.
-Carried a 75k price tag...
Is it gonna be worth the 40k you invest upgrading???? That's a question only you can answer... As far as I see it, I fell in more love with my boat after Manual flow install and the suck gate invention. Plus I added some nice LEDs inside to freshen it up. I am in no hurry to upgrade and I'm no way is a little more room at my expense for others worth me spending 40k to upgrade my boat. I owe less than 20 on mine after buying new in 2013, so my only goal is to pay it off and enjoy it for years to come.

I have ridden behind Enzo, G21, Craz, Tige Z3, Centurion c4, Malibu VLX, too name a few and none of them have many any wow factor over my LSV. So I know the Mojo wouldn't either in comparison.

Definitely the top dog in the Moomba line.

The difference in freeboard is amazing. Look at the top of their heads relative to the letters

Going from my 08 LSV exact same boat as yours really to the Mojo was a huge upgrade. Worth every penny.

Space is significant, is wider, deeper in the interior, plus you think it's only a two feet difference isn't much but the difference is closer to 4ft, they moved the windshield position forward to add more cabin space, they shortened the sun deck to give more cabin space. The wide nose gives you a ton more bow space.

Also the boat has a much firmer sturdier feel in the water. Driving feels more responsive.

Engine your getting a lot more power and better fuel economy even in the base model Raptor.

Garage space, only 18 inches longer due to they moved the boat forward on the trailer.

In the 22.5 mojo it's the exact same length on the trailer as my 21.5 LSV was.

Also in the LSV 5-6 people and the boat started feeling crowded. On the Mojo we take 7-10 people out all the time and never feels crowded.

To say the price jump and such ate not worth it in this comparison is not fare at all.

Now to compare my Mojo to KG would be a fair comparison that it's not worth the price jump in boats.

The 16 is only 6 inches longer, it does have a better hull and some other features but a 30k jump in price wouldn't be worth it in my book.

The LSV to Mojo in 13 for me was a 25k jump and worth it every time i spend a day in my boat.

I was a little concerned with the wake switch, coming from the supra 24, but had read the hull comes from the old body style SA. It worked out ... nice lip, meaty and consistent. It also handles the weight well as my wife doesn't mind driving anymore. The wake is very solid with 1100 rears and ibs. Here is 22mph at 70 ft

The wave is good and fun with 1100s and ibs but it's easy to see the hull has more to offer if it's sunk more, I'm thinking 800 + more would be awesome. We do use the autosurf. It was one of the reasons we started shopping. My wife now tries to surf more because we can easily setup her (goofy) side after riding regular. Driver only plus 1100s and ibs ....

Like Mike said, if we had two families of 5 in the LSV, things were very cramped. Now there is plenty of space.
The Mojo handles the surf weight so much better too. Like KG said, my wife did not liked driving the LSV heavily listed, now we are close to even weighted, and driving is much easier.

Just keep in mind, those 1100s are not filling to 1100 with the shape/size of them compared to the locker shape/size.

???? they are smaller

1100's don't fill completely. A custom sack would be more ideal.

WakeMakers makes custom bags for the Mojo, 1180s I have a pair and they fill completely up and I have full use of under seat storage in the rear.

How much did those run you mmandley? I'm wanting to upgraded from stock to 1100 also and was locking at the fly high pro x jumbo. But if the custom 1180s fit better and are close to the same in price that would be the better option.

Any bracing have to be done?

Also would there be much difference between the Mojo and Craz that are both pretty load besides the extra room?

For the bags I think they run around 280 each but you can get the discount on them.
Bracing, I have the braces but never installed them yet

Did any thing change as far as shape of the locker goes from 14 when the MOJO was 22.5' to 15+ when it was stretched to 23'? Just wondering if the bags still fit as well as they did on the older model.

I honestly don't know, I would like to think they got slightly bigger because I was thinking the free-board is a little more on the 23 and its a little wider. Someone would need to measure them, then I will remeasure mine and compare.

They are smaller, without a doubt.
