I have a 2006 LXV and wanted to put the moomba surf system on it. The problem is moomba made the system for 2006 and up for the LSV not the LXV. Has anyone tried to modify the system for fit the LXV or found a surf system that works great for the LXV?

Do you mean the XLV?

still waiting myself on the system for the xlv from wakeland mfg , wakemakers has a system that may work on the XLV but I have yet to measure the templates on the curved hull.

ghetto gate works well as does the newly tested suck gates. search the forum for plenty of examples.

seriously wakeland or wakemakers are the only electronic systems that available that will allow transfers or swapping sides by only flicking a switch

Sorry i miss typed XLV is correct

I made a getto gate and it worked ok not great but there are lots of versions of the getto gates and one may be better than the one i made.
i would love to have a system mounted on the boat that works. I have a friend that has the moomba manual system on his moomba mojo and it works great.

I left it at the lake on my dock by accident
I will upload a photo when I get it back
It come off the bottom edge of boat with a 22 degree angle out

I fill a 750 bag on whichever side we are trying to surf and make everyone sit on that side of the boat with trim up

speed 10 mph

has anyone tried to make the moomba system for the lsv fit the xlv?
an adapter would need to be made to accommodate for the difference in shape.

Bruh, you need to get yourself on the suck gate train! I have a Moomba flow and don't even deploy it anymore since I built my suck gate. 😀

I spec out a machine shop to cnc a block of aluminum with that depth and it was cost prohibitive., plus they would have to laser the stearn at the hull.

Bruce, does you boat have a lot of graphics near the rear.

BTW my ghetto gate was 30 bucks all in , I have a suck gate to try but because I have grpahics, it wont stick so I am trying it on the lowest level of the boat, kinda like an NSS or swell.
