Muffler Noise

I have a rattling sound coming from the fiberglass muffler. Almost like a baffle has come loose and is floating around. I drained the muffler and started the engine and there was no noise. Filled it and the noise was back and I can feel it banging around inside the muffler. Anyone ever see anything like this.

I am not familiar with this issue, but when reading this, the first thing that popped into my head was that FAE now offers mufflers. According to them if you add one of these with one of their FAE systems it should make for a pretty quiet boat. They also claim that it may be more cost effective then replacing the muffler. Just thought I would share in the event you find out you need to replace the muffler. It's a second option

Just called them on this. They are going to check to see what it would take to fabricate it out of stainless.
