Finally made a gate of my own and it well worth the time very nice to evenly wait the boat and it lengthened the pocket by a few feet

Hello Sledneck, I have a 2013 LSV as well. Do you follow any directions online to make your gate? I'm looking for a good set. Thanks.

I have made both and I recommend the sukgate instead. The ghetto gate takes longer to deploy, many of them work on only one side of the boat and it makes the boat much harder to steer. The sukgate works just as well, is super easy to deploy, works on both sides and doesn't affect steering nearly as much. About the same price if you DIY build.

Yup I remember the good old days two summers ago when people were using ghetto gates.
