Hi Guys,

My brother is about to join the moomba family... A loaded up 2016 moomba Mojo with surf tabs etc... How is the surf on this in comparison to other moomba boats... Ie: my 2008 xlv or a lsv? We have surfed behind a Centurion 210ss (2015 model year), a Nautique G23 (2014 Model Year) several mastercrafts x2, x15, x25, x30.... All pretty much stock... Any thoughts are apprecaited.

You will have to upgrade the ballast on the mojo to get anything close to g23 or a x25, or x30. Just have dealer include in sale. Other than that thet are great boats. We have a 15 and traded it on a SG450. You will love the boat.

Agree with Nitro, I can surf the wave behind my '15 mojo, but, it does lack push. My buddies x-30 MC has a better wave but he did upgrade his ballast. Tried many settings. I am going to upgrade to the 1100 lb rear ballast. 360$ at wakemakers, certainly not a deal breaker. My boat is also pretty loaded and I love it. My 2 kids love it. Have tons of fun. The little ones love the heater. All in all, for the money I paid, the features it includes, the size, the cabin space, and just the overall design, appearance, I think its the best value I could of gotten.
BTW, I purchased a demo model, still new model year '15, in august last year. Guess dealer did not want to go into winter with the boat on the books. Got >10k off sticker. Something to consider.
I would think its less likely to get lower prices on new factory orders.

Upgrade bags and make a suck gate. Best wave ever.
