Sumo 1000 # Ballast Bags, will they fit?

everyone has said they sumo 900's are a good upgrade for back of Moomba mondo from the 650's. I now see sumo has a 1000# and appear to be same size as the 900's. Thoughts? Can I plug these right up and use with current pumps? I know it will probably take longer to fill and empty as its 350# bigger.

The 900's really don't "fit" per say. They fill the locker to it's fullest, but I don't think the bag is getting full as it's a little too long for the locker. With that said, the wake makers site says the new 1000# are the same size...I don't know how they get 100# more out of a bag the same size LOL. Anyhow, it you want that bag, go for it. Neither will fit perfect.

So I assume you have the 900's in your boat? Did you just take out old and put in new. Plug and Play. Or did you have to upgrade stuff. Hoses, pump, fittings ect.

Yes, 900's. I bought from a member here, but WM has a package deal and they give you the correct fittings so all you do is unplug old and plug in the new.... PnP :)

I just looked and the 900 package is backordered. Just call them tomorrow and see what they can do for you. They are great to work with and will know what you need or steer you in the right direction. Also mention you are a Moomba forum member!

So just ordered the 900's instead of the 1000's. Was told the 900s are underrated and only difference is the Sumo Max is compatible with the Fast Fill Pump, which I am looking to plug and play. Ordered and excited to get this stuff in place.. Maybe next I will get the 750 for the IBS.
