I need some help..... I have a 13 LSV and want to upgrade the rear locker ballast. We are into surfing pretty hard and I need some more weight. I have the IBS and the center tank. What size do I need?

Also a 13 here. I run sumo 900s in the rear. I was torn between 1100s and 900s. I can't imagine getting all 1100 to fill in those lockers. That coupled with I didn't want to overweight the flow. Late last season I started toying with a 400lb bag under the seat in addition and have been pleased. If you're that hard up over extra weight might think about a custom bag to fill up under the seats, unless you need the storage. Then of course you'll probably need to get creative with some more bow weight.

I have 12 lsv and upgraded to 1100. Only few dollars more than 900s.

For the lsv guys I'm curious how you weigh your boat for surfing? Using ghetto gate or anything else?

I'm using ghetto gate with back sacks evenly weighted but not 100 full, center and ibs 750 mostly full.

Thanks in advance.

In my 12 LSV, I ran 1100s, center full, 650 IBS, and I used one of my stock rear bags on a the starboard seat for a little something extra (we're all goofy)
