Help needed - Youth Wakesurf Board

I have an 11 year old son who wants to get into wakesurfing. We have a big (5' 5") beginner board but he could not get up on it last year. Figured I would check and see if anyone has a board for sale before I purchase new.
If I go new, I was looking at Phase 5 Fish or something he can grow into for a year or two. Any other recommendations on youth boards.

As another albeit more difficult option.....we have had some smaller kids start out laying on the board (like with a kneeboard) and then work to standing after boat gets to speed.

Phase 5 scamp is a good grom board up to 120lbs.
I shopped around last year and picked up year old model on the cheap.
