Need to replace my impeller. Found this one on Amazon. Any concerns. Like 1/2 the price than dealers. Any other recommendations?

Keep the old one as a spare.. :)

I've read reviews that say that the sierra doesn't perform as well as the Johnson. some people say that they got different flow with it because it's rubber is a different consistency or something? Bottom line is that for a $6 difference, I went with the Johnson.

Thanks guys! I went with the Johnson and still way cheaper than the dealer.

How could anyone tell of one impeller flows better than another? That sounds intense, lol. My thought was the more expensive Johnson impellers might last longer?

It's all a crapshoot. I've had impellers last 5 years and others last a few weeks. No telling. Always keep your spare on board.

Like I said, it was online reviews where someone attributed overheating or something to the brand of impeller. Are they full of crap? Probably. But for $6 difference, I went with the one that didn't have any bad reviews.
