I've got a 08 moomba mobius lsv and I'm having trouble finding the little screws that keep the engine cover In place. My local indmar parts guy says he doesn't show a listing for this aND I was wondering where people find their parts for a scenario such as this. They're missing so I cant size it up at my local hardware store. Also trying to find a wake tower light cause I hit a low clearance hanger and broke it. :/ all I can find is a low profile which the pylon would be blocking it. One I have folds and I cannot find it. any ideas?

Nice. That looks like mine. Don't know why I couldn't find that before.. how many bolt holes does yours have? Can't find a good pic of how it mounts

SC has used that style light for several year models, it has 2 screws that hold the light to the bar.

As for the screws for the engine cover, I am not exactly sure which ones you are referring to, but if is the main hinges, I would not doubt that it is the same that are used on the rear storage area lids.

ah those engine cover screws..da.. an option would be to find a bolt (or threaded rod) that fits, cut the head off, screw it in and then use a wing nut to hold the cover down.

The screws that hold the cover on the engine are P/N 986227. The screws are standard 1/4-20 x 3/4 socket head cap screws with plastic caps.

The correct P/N for the screws is 496227 not 986227 ... I typed the wrong number. 496227 is for a set of 10 and is sold as a bulk-pack to make it easier for the dealers to stock the parts and keep some in inventory.
