Carpet

Hey fellas. It's been quite some time since I've been on here. It's been two years since my boat has been out of the garage. Only like 75 hours on her. The carpet on all upright pieces is falling off. Not rotten just really poorly installed. Anyone run into this. ??

On ours, the carpet under the helm is falling down (by the driver's right leg). It looks like they used some heavy duty double sided adhesive tape and that it simply couldn't bond well with the fiberglass. On my todo list, I would like to use some proper adhesive to glue something like a furring strip to the fiberglass and then staple the carpet to that.

you could probably use some 3m super 90.
