Ballast pump issues

I had one of my pumps go bad so I replaced it with a new one and now it will only run for a couple of seconds then the light on the switch flashes a couple of times and then stays on but the pump is not running. This is the gravity games system with three jabsco pumps in the back of my 09 XLV. Has anyone had any problems like this? I switch the new pump to one of the other plugs and it is having the same issue there.

Does it have the same amp draw as what you replaced?

yep amp draw is the same, I even tried the other pumps and it's doing it to them as well.

In what way did the original pump fail? Did you bench test it outside of the boat?

well I'm starting to think there was nothing wrong with the original pump.
