I have an 08 Moomba XLV Gravity Games Edition. When I was looking this was the boat I wanted because I loved the color scheme on it. But now I am debating on removing some of the GG Edition decals and I am torn about it. So my question is would you remove any or leave it? Also if you would which ones would you remove? My thoughts are remove the Vortec Engines and all the stickers above the rubrail?

I'd start at the front by removing the Vortec Graphic and continue all the way back until the XLV leaving nothing but white fiberglass!

It's funny I was thinking the same thing about my 2013. Since the first year it has had dock rub on stickers and it drives me nuts every time I wipe it down or even walk by. I have contemplated stripping it down to only the LSV part. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160510/da7a56fb136fa49aacbab60ace62b79a.jpg

So Dusty your saying take everything off, or everything but the XLV? The one sticker I would for sure like to remove is the Vortec Engines. It has always seemed out of place.

Another vote for naked and black moomba raised letters.

So what if I remove these stickers and they show some ghosting? Will a buffer take that out?

I think a good buff job should handle it. Being white you won't have it near as bad as a darker color. IMO, if you are on the fence about leaving the XLV, pull everything and leave the XLV for an outing to see how you like it on the water. I think that boat would look hot being naked, or like Mark Said, do the new Moomba black chrome raised letters

The black chrome moomba letters are sky high after the fact. $100 on new boat.

Well looks like I am out on this. I removed an inconspicuous spot and hit it with compound and it definitely shows. Not sure how people are doing this on darker boats.
