I need to find a good reliable shop in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area.
I need a freeze plug replaced and correctly find out what the issue is with my steering.
Any suggestions?

Grandpa's Marine in Greensboro is a Moomba dealer. Tracy Petty is service manager. They handled my one warranty issue very nicely. Don't know how expensive they are for non-warranty work. 336-375-3500

They have already had my LSV 3 times for the steering issue and the last time I told Tracy to take the boat out on the water because that was when I had the problem and they never did

Sorry to hear that. Southtown is in Charlotte.

I've never had a lot of luck at Grandpa's. But I've only been there for parts and accessories. I wasn't new boat shoppin' so I didn't get a lot of attention there. Just a normal, run of the mill stealership IMO.
My buddy bought his Mojo from southtown. They forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the trailer and he lost a wheel half way home. They gave him a loaner trailer while they repaired his (it broke some studs and bent up the fender). No experience or stories other than that.

I use Powerboat Service in Raleigh for all my regular maintenance and winterizing. They do a great job and will store my boat indoors if it has to stay overnight. But that is a long haul from Greensboro.

I'm good with hauling it a little distance if it's going to get fixed correctly… I'll check them out thanks

I use Grandpa's and never had any problems. Tracy always works with my crazy schedule to get my work done. Tried dealing with Southtown before and to be honest, I'd haul my boat to another state before they would touch it.
