Just want to make sure I am not missing anything. I have the 325hp engine in my 07lsv and do all the service. My buddy asked if I would help with his 08 xlv with a 340hp engine. from looking at the service manual on line it looks like everything is the same as far as engine, trans, v-drive oil capacities, oil filters, impeller, and fuel filter. Just want to confirm this before starting. Thanks.

I have the 345 Surf engine and the maintenance appears the same as the other 330hp that I used to have except that it has a bigger oil pan.
Looking to see if anyone else offers up a difference....

The CAT/ETX engines take .060 gapped plugs. That may be a slight difference from the 325. Virtually everything else is the same.

See below post from Engine Nut (Indmar employee).
