Unfortunately I ran over a dock line and snap it. I was able to get it untangled. Is there anything I need to look at or worry about?

when you have it out of the water just make sure the blades of the prop all look ok. You could run it out of the water for a minute hooked to the fake a lake and put it in gear and check for any vibration. You should be ok if it just got tangled.

Lesson: keep knife in the glovebox. Seen incidents with anchor and wake lines.

It got tangled and snap the line with a loud pop. Was possibly in gear for up to 60 seconds. Then engine was shut off pulled by hand back on to the trailer. Everything looked fine after getting the rope out. Everything felt fine after words. May have heard a bit of a squeal at times.

And swim goggles

I bring a dive mask.

And the knife I have is a floating knife. :-)

That sucks Broke! Yep my boat is stocked with a dive mask, knife & extra prop just in case. You should be ok but it does take a lot to snap a dock line.

It's good to know this happens to other people.

Happened to me at brostock with an anchor line. Thank god my friends had a knife and were willing to cut it loose. I think they live for that situation, I now need to get a knife and keep a mask in the box.

A friend almost lost his new boat when his boat came within two feet of hitting a navigation buoy with a river current of 8 mph when a rope got caught up in the prop. He could have moved away from the buoy if needed by running the prop even with the rope tangled up and fix that damage later.
