Craig's list Exiles, a deal?

Here is 2 sets of Exile audio tower speakers on Craig's List. I this a good deal or not? If it is I am probably gonna go buy a set.

Also, what is the difference between surf speakers and wake speakers?

XM will be the "wake" speaker which means HLCD ... its a horn speaker made to project.

Sxt9 will be the "surf" speaker and is a coaxial speakers.

25% off MSRP, on a typically discounted speaker, is far from a good deal on used audio equipment, IMO.

The surf speakers aren't going to add much value, if any, when sitting next to a pair of HLCDs.

I will agree with what they said. A couple of years ago I got a like new set of four lightly used Exiles for just under half price on this forum. There wasn't so much as a scuff on them, came in the original box with sox and they played perfectly.
You gotta love when people upgrade and pass down what they had to us peasants.

I think the guy selling them may live about a mile from Daze.


If someone wants only the speakers, I may be interested in the MKII for the right price
