Hey gang. Here's a few shots from our great clinic weekend. Fortunate again to have one of the best instructors in the world come help us out!
For those who ski you really should consider spending some time with this guy!

iwaterski - What instruction was being conveyed at the time you took pictures 1, 5, 7, and 8? Also, what kind of rope is the girl holding in picture #1? Good pics. Thanks for sharing. - Deerfield

Lots of concentration on "body alignment" and carrying that position out to the buoy or start of the turn. Also when in that position staying engaged with the handle. Meaning initiate your turn so you've changed edges but don't give the handle back to the boat too early.
Lots of time and discussions on pull outs as well. If your pull out isn't good your entry to the course will reflect that as well. Trent always says - How you start the turn is also how you'll finish the turn.
The handle in the first pic is that ladies handle. She calls it her training wheel handle and it is but she keeps using it because she never fails to get up!

Sorry no action shots from clinic.

I got to drive for Trent once and sit in the boat and watch him ski too. There are many words I could use to describe it but here are my first two: AWESOME & SICK!!!!! :)

Looks like a Deep V - My wife LOVES that rope as it keeps her ski (HO Women's Freeride) stable as she is getting up. She swears by it and won't even try with a normal handle with the rope off to the side! I won't use it, but I love the fact that she places her confidence in the rope to help her get up.... Happy skiing wife = happy skiing life

very cool!!!!! I would love to go to some type of school like this, I'm sure I have a lot of things messed up because I just free ski but I love watching people cut up a course.
