Been looking to get a plug light for a while and the reviews seem to be really good for these guys. Anyone have experience with them? Also, any chance someone with a Mojo could post a pic of the existing plug area? They need to see the space between the plug and the wakeplate/platform and my boat is already in the slip for the summer.

Thanks!!

I have one of their double lights on my XLV and I love it! Best bang for your buck in my opinion.

Sweet ... can you see the wake when surfing at night?

I knew I forgot to order something the other day... Lol
Those things are awesome.

Blue or white? Any thoughts on what would push a better amount of light?

On my craz it the highest point of the plate is completely level.

I'm thinking my Mojo would be the same ... I'll check it out tomorrow.

That doesn't look up to me, you can see on the piston a seal ring which I would denote as all the way up.

Unless it goes up more in the water. That is fully raised.

From what I recall when I looked into them, it wouldn't fit the Mojo.

I sent them in a pic and that is what the recommended. Any idea why it might not work on a Mojo but would work on others?

They replied back saying "See attached. Should be the same basic configuration"

Here is the pic. Is this similar to the Mojo? Mine is in the water so I can't get a good look at it.

That's funny because that is my boat! The blue light does well in the water but if it's a murky/dirty water no color is going to do great.

Haha what are the chances?! He gave me the impression it was a Mojo but I'm guessing this is your XLV? Yeah we are lucky the water here is mountain fed so its ridiculously clear.

It is because you are too close to wake plate (the brass fitting actually butts to the plate) that it won't twist in without hitting something. what you can do is detach the plate from the Lenco's to install it. Also don't use a plug light with a bigger outer diameter than the plugs collar. Or the plate won't come all the way up...

OK thanks for the info. Yeah they had mentioned that I would have to drop the plate, install the light, then reattach the plate.

What is all involved with detaching the plate? Easy job?

Extemely, it unbolts from the actuator and drops down out of the way

It is in transit now via USPS so I will post pix when I have it installed.

FYI, I could not get their "y-knot" to fit on my Mojo. I used an extension to move it away from the transom, and that allowed me to screw it in, but the wakeplate was touching the light even in the full DOWN position. I just returned it today.

I had to return mine too. I tried several different brass fittings to make 45/90 degree angles. It was either hitting plate or actuator every way I tried. The drain plug on mojo is very close to plate and has downward angle.

I would add the light looked solid. The company was also good to help me try and make it work. Really wish it would have worked.

So finally got around to putting this on ... and yes it does not fit. Same issue as Russell - am in the process of returning it today. They said I could always drill another plug hole and use it that way. Not my ideal situation at all.

What did you guys do? Just return it and move on? I am thinking maybe go with the surface mounted Dagon 5150s they have? 8K lumens per light.

I just sent back and have gone without.

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed with these guys overall. I specifically asked them multiple times if it would work on my boat and even sent in pix, and they assured me it would. Hopefully this post will save anyone else with a '14 Mojo from making the same mistake.

HA! Exactly the same thing that I did. Sent pictures and everything before ordering. They assured me that it would work.
