I've been looking at those for the last week. I'd have already pulled the trigger, but I have to sell my current trailer wheels when I buy the ones you ordered...

These are my current wheels. Which are pretty cool looking:

But as you can tell, the wheels you just ordered are really close to a match for the wheels on our truck. Enough that I'm going to have to take a small loss on the existing trailer wheels and the dismount/mount fees.

I like really like those! I was toying with that style too since they match a little closer to what I put on my truck too. Trayson, nice rig!

I ordered from discount tire & it was the same price as online sites and they will mount dismount for free.

Good looking truck by the way and I agree the new rims will look better....copy cat ;-)

I'm sure someone on here will buy yours.

Good to know. We have a couple America's Tire locations that are in Portland so no sales tax. I would have definitely bought this style last year, but they didn't have them on the trailer-wheels.com site I ordered from.

Boat looks awesome! Tell me about the window tint. Did they disassemble the windows or install on boat? I saw one video where the tint went on outside of window, how about yours? cost? I have been told by two window tint places in Dallas they will not do any more boats.

Dusty had his tinted in the Dallas area. He might be able to chime in. Tinting on the outside is going to be very subject to scratching . You just need to find the right shop, with experience. I paid $400 5 or so years back. Mine was done on the boat but heard of others removing.

Installed on boat. It was a pain in the ass and he spent probably 6 hours on it. He quoted me $300....everywhere else was $500-$600. He said he usually charged $500 but doesn't know why he told me $300. He said this was the hardest windshield he's ever done and never wants to do another boat lol

I just had mine tinted ( also had the frame powder coated ), so a complete disassembly and reassembly. They look GREAT, but I guess with the additional thickness from the powder they were a MF'er to get all back together. So unless you plan on taking a full day to reassemble. PAY to get it done ON the boat. Money well spent. It was 150 to tint the 5 pieces off the boat.

$100 plus shipping. They weigh 23 pounds each. My guess is $50 to $75 for shipping.

Sorry. I guess I didn't clarify very well. Those are the rims I have now and want to upgrade to a set of custom aluminum rims. I appreciate the effort just the same. if I hear of someone else needing them, ill spread the word.

Local craigslist dude fell was a flake and shipping costs are pretty high. I sold one but kept the set for the craigslist guy. Neighborhood garage sale in a few weeks so hoping to sell then!

Bummer! Thanks for mine though :) Got a new radial mounted on it yesterday for $85 :) Too bad I didn't measure the trailer before ordering my spare carrier. It didn't fit :(

jmvotto
04-07-2016, 02:29 PM
did you order the spare carrier from boat mate?

I did the same from brett lee and 55 buck to mount a trailer tire , waiting for spring to move it to mount once I get boat.

russellsmojo
04-07-2016, 02:50 PM
Oh no. I would have never guessed there would be a fit problem. The wheels fits the trailer hub ok?

jmvotto
04-07-2016, 04:26 PM
trailer hub has two bolts and three holes, prolly fits the 5 and 6 hole pattern. most likely a bracket issue?

CFD3Captain
04-07-2016, 10:29 PM
Yea...sorry I wasn't clear. The carrier I ordered doesn't fit the trailer. Didn't realize the rails were 5". I don't really want to spend $80 on the BoatMate one, but I may break down and do it.

I got this one on my 5" boatmate trailer frame. works just fine.

I just got one from boatmate. I think it was $75,but that includes Chrome lugs and they paint to match your trailer.
