What cga jacket have you guys found fits a little bigger for us full sized guys. When I say full sized I mean athletic/ body builder build. I'm 6ft 220 and typically wear a L or Xl t-shirt but find that in many high end vests even the XXL"s run snug. I have a hard time because of my chest and shoulder width: I tried on a Ronix Capella yesterday and I would have to get the XXL and it's still pretty snug. I was told the Ronix Covert runs a little larger, can anyone confirm that? If anyone has other advise I'm open ears. Thanks!

Your best bet is goto a local dealer, try on vests in person, then you have an idea. Different manufactures fit differently. They are not like shirts.

More like pants, each band fits a little different even though they are all the same size.

I'm 240 and 6 foot and I have been using the same jacket for years but it isn't Coast Guard approved. I have one that is CG approved and it is OK but is thicker than the one I use on the water and more restrictive.

The O'Brien and O'Neill ones always seem to be just a little bigger than the others.
