"Weight your new Mojo just right with up to 2000 Lbs of Gravity III Ballast standard. And if surfing is more your game go even bigger and add the additional Surf Package for whopping 2500 LBs."
Can anyone tell me the configuration by location and hard vs soft?

From what I got in the Craz it's 750's rear sacks and a 500 mid hard tank. Then you can add a 500 IBS for the 2500, might be the same on the Mojo...

Sounds right ... or what I was guessing anyways.
Mostly curious if they were putting 750's in from factory.
Do you plan on swapping rear bags for something larger, Josh? Or running any additional weight over factory?

Heard from SC rep ....
Mojo has 650 rear bags and 700 hard tank in the belly. (front/middle) = 2,000
Options bow sac, IBS, of 500 gets you to 2,500

You got that breakdown for the SE also? Curious as to the rear hard tank weight and front hard tank weight.

The plan for now is rocking it all stock and to see what we can make out of it. I'm not one for having bags all around the boat and for my skill stock should work out perfectly. We mostly wake so larger in the rear isn't a must, I will have to learn to surf but I'm sure we can pull a decent wave with stock.
Edit:
Can you shoot me the rep for SC so I can ask about the Craz? I would hate to have the wrong info and spreading it around the interweb.
The Craz ballast setup is the same as the 2016 Mojo. Standard is 650's on each side of the engine and a 700 lb hard tank in the front/middle. The Surf edition gives you and additional 500 lb bag under the front cushions.
The SE has 250 lb hard tanks and 750 lb bags on each side of the engine, 700 lb hark tank in the middle/front, and a 500 lb bag under the front cushions. 3200 lbs total.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info John! I'm even more stoked with the ballast setup rather then the miss information that I had. That's awesome you would come on here to clear it up.

You gonna want to slam a mojo to surf it , 1100 rears , 650 bow, 400 port . Congrats on the trade...

Does your friend have any other questions? Looks like a lot of folks are upgrading this winter and this has been some good info.

He will probably need to know how to reset ballast timers if he upgrades the rear bags to 1100's.
I've heard it's best to fill ballast while sitting still or at idle.

Tell him it's very simple, on the Supra you go to the main settings menu and Choose Ballast settings, once in there it's very easy to adjust. We have adjusted the SE a few times trying to figure it out. The last time out after a few issues, I ended up getting it timed to where they shut off right about 30 seconds after water started coming out of the vents.

Speaking of this ballast has KG's friend or anybody try the upgraded prop from the factory? I think it's a OJ 945 15" x 13 if I'm not mistaken.

I was told it was a good upgrade. It should pull lots of weight and it should be fine running 3500 with arkansas altitude. 400, not 440
I'm not certain what the acme comparable is.

arkansas altitude
Looks like the state ranges from 55 to 2,700' and here in UT we have to deal with 4,500 to 7,000' It was a must to go with the "wake" prop and I used a 15" x 12 on my MB and it was amazing. My dealer was open the the idea to test out some props so future sales will be perfect for UT.

I think the 440 and 945, at altitude, will be a great combo, from my understanding.

Well I couldn't throw the $5k towards the 440 and I had the PCM343 and with the upgraded prop it was perfect. Good RPM's and plenty of push so I'm not too worried about the 400. I ran 2200 lbs with a 65 gal fuel tank and the Craz will be 2500 with 49 fuel tank. Looks like the boats themselves are within a couple hundred lbs of one another. Stoked to get it on the water when it comes in May.

I don't have any pictures to show KG frined of 1100s, but I can say they are rather small looking in the V drive. I have a cargo net with my ropes on the inside of the door and with the bag I use full it doesn't pop the door.
I do have a couple pictures with my Enzo 1500 full though for reference.
V Drive full and door closes no problem.

This is the mid way seat, and my batter box with the 2 golf cart batteries and 12V house battery.

Goofy side is the same except I have my heater mounted in under the seat behind the driver.
This is a side shot of how deep the boat sits with the Enzos full.

DFTR, I was thinking you went 440 for some reason. I bet you will still be good with the 400, just def want the upgraded prop.

.
I pack light man, vests, boards, beer.
Seriously though the cubby is freakishly huge. Not quit the size of Dusty boat but close.
I only run the 900 now in the Regular so I have the under seat storage, I can fit my anchor bag, all the extra vests in there. Everyone who is a regular wears a comp vest and they go on Goofy side unless we are surfing it. Then they pile up on Regular lol.
I honestly just don't carry a lot in the boat, I got a first aid kit, 2 small totes, 1 with basic tools, the other has fuses, tape, small items like that. That stuff is in the cubby, then people throw their bags in the cubby, I carry 2 48 can soft coolers that sit in the walk way and people just step between them to get to the bow.
I have room for 8 boards so the tower holds all that lol.

Prop is a for sure and that is why we are trying the factory 15" x 13 pitch to start with. We will test push, times to plane, RPM's, etc and see if we might have to jump to a 15" x 12 pitch. I'm pretty confident the 15 x 13 will be just fine for the 400. You talk to your friend yet to share build pictures?

I ran the stock 750# bags in my lockers of my 2016 craz for about a month and couldn't do it, I got board and upgraded to the 1100# bags and was very happy with the investment. I would push anyone else who really rides to do the same.

My thought is that you don't HAVE to fill them all the way should you not want to but why not have the option at the flip of a switch. If you surf you'll want them.

I would also sell the 500 IBS and buy the sumo 750 IBS.
I find the 900 sumo's in the rear lockers were perfect. I took out my 1100 and ran these last year and was very pleased. If I am not mistaken the sumo 900 actually hold just over 1000 lbs full? It surfed like it did!

The 750 Sumo just has slightly longer legs. It fits perfectly and the extra bow weight really help lengthen the pocket for surf. The 500 doesn't actually hold 500.

What is the benefit of swap? More locker room? Quicker fill?

I did not notice a major difference in storage. I don't know that I would swap again if I had 1100's. I was having intermittent issues with the connector being popped out with the 1100 full so I decided to sell the 11's and add the 900's instead of redoing the fill line hose. I took the lazy way out but it did fix the issue of the weight from the 1100 pushing out the connectors and slowing down my day not to speak of the great vocabulary my kids now have due to those days. My 1100's were filling at the bottom of the bag.
