Exile EXBT4 Power Wiring

Just a simple question. The Exile EXBT4 only has one power wire and one ground wire. Should the power wire connect to the remote turn on positive wire, or connect to the constant on positive wire? I think it should connect to the remote turn on, but I am not sure since I believe some devices cause a thump when turned on before or after others. Thanks.

I piggy backed my EXBT4 with my MKII. This will cause it to power up when my MKII powers up and not cause the Thump you are referring to.
I did find that mounting it directly to the MKII had poor reception range so I mounted it on the inside of the dash.
