Saw that looks pretty legit. I read some reviews from that engine in the Tige and it sounds like a beast. Burns some fuel though, 7-9gpm at surf speeds.

I bet that edition is 150 all day.

Now we are talking. Too bad boat performance to horsepower is not linear.

nice boat, but like most limited editions, resale will not justify the high price...

Sweet Boat only 25 being made which is cool,Curious if it can produce a surf wave on par with the new Tige RZX?and I guess if you can afford it you can afford the the gas also 7-9 GPM at surf speed Ouch.

What is the difference between the 550 and the roush edition?

The surf wave is on par with the professional tour ...

Thats a result of the TAPS-3 more so than the engine. The base 400 seems to burn about the same in a lighter boat but still TAPS-3 equipped

Also comes with its own line of clothing if you're an owner of the boat. Hell I can't probably afford the T-shirt

With a peak output of 540 horsepower and 540 foot-pounds of torque, Indmar’s 6.2-liter supercharged LSA engine

Reading some of the threads on Wake World from 2012 with that engine people are saying 9-20gpm depending on how much weight you run. This was mostly referring to the G23 but still. IDK how much money I have to burn, I don't think I am willing to set it on fire like that LOL.

Now I will agree the newer engines are more fuel efficient and efficiency is directly effected by driver style, ballast, prop, and base boat weight.

I don't think 7-9 is that bad, my LSV would burn 6-8 surfing with 3K in it. That was with the 5.7 325 and my Mojo is pretty consistent at 4-5gpm surfing with 3k-3500 ballast but it has the mid grade 345 Surf engine. Newer engines are much more fuel efficient.

I am curious though how much extra the Roush engine is, the Cadillac engine was a 20K upgrade over the mid engine upgrade.

The Cadillac stats have the V motor at 556 hp and 551 lb ft of torque. Seems like the caddy engine is a better performer

I am pretty sure at SSF we surfed the SE 550 Rousch supercharged boat, it was very impressive , a bit loud from the supercharger but a beast.

The MC x 23 had the Ilmor 7.4 rousch supercharged engine too , very impressive boat too.

Just out of shear lack of knowledge......what is GPM? I'm a firefighter and it means gallons per MINUTE in my world. I have never seen GPM used in boating. Since I am new to tow boats I thought maybe I was missing something. Please tell me this is Miles Per Gallon stated in reverse :) I'm coming from a JetBoat so I am used to pretty lackluster fuel usage, but sucking a gallon per minute can't be so!!

Nice find Brain Rinse. I've been in that showroom and actually test drove a Mojo with the owner's son on Gull Lake a couple years ago. At that time they were a Moomba and Natique dealer. Didn't see any Supra's.
Color scheme is nice but bet those seats get pretty hot on sunny days but sure is pretty!

That's where I bought my LSV and they took us out on a G23 demo a couple years back as well. Great people and a great dealership. Was it Jeremy that took you out on Gull? They do a big on the water demo each year that is pretty fun.

Not sure who it was? I know that my dad and I stopped in one afternoon to see what they had for inventory and got to talking to him and his dad. He had to run some parts towards Baxter and asked if we wanted to meet at their lake place and take it for a spin. It was only a couple miles from the dealership right on the water. They had a brand new Mojo on their lift so we dropped it in the lake and took a quick ride. Nice place and super nice folks.

Maybe I should head out there this summer and try and do that with the Rousch SE :)
