So hated the carpet always getting wet and seemed to hold moisture for weeks on end. Last year I was trying to keep it simple and thought this would work.

Well a year later, the results haven't been all that great. basically as water ended up under the 800 lbs. bags the undercoating came off the floor and is now on the bottom of the bags of which I can't get off.

So was thinking maybe just a rubber mat, started searching and found this

So far I only have one side done, but I can already tell this will be an awesome fix. One sheet will do both sides and this stuff cuts easy with a utility knife. It got to dark for pictures, I'll take a few tomorrow.

I use these for my daughters horse trailer flooring. I also use it in front of my lathe. Easy to clean and very durable. But they are extremely heavy. Built in ballast ;-)

Mine has the Factory Mats in it, and while it isn't causing the glue issues you are having, it still holds water in the V locker and causes my bags to get nasty on the bottom. I have to srubb them down to clean them every so often. I pull them out end of season but its really too much hassle to pull them out each week.

Tractor supply also sells the mat on a roll in the store so you can cut and buy just the amount you need. Went there last year and they had a scrap piece that they just gave me.
The pads under my tower were shot and actually replaced it with the mat material. Worked great

I found this at lowes:

You can customize the size by cutting and snapping it together. It's raised off the floor a little to allow the water to drain. Keeps the bottom of the bags dry for the most part.

Pic of the mat installed. Nothing fancy but am sure each side weighs at least 20lbs.
