View Full Version : Windshield Cleaning Tips
What is the proper way to clean the windshields in our boats? Anything we should or should not be doing? Any particular products?
Thanks.

Somebody had to say it.
Windex, vinegar? Pain in the rear to get clean for some reason.

I found some vinegar spray window cleaner at the dollar store the other day. My boys washed the truck and left the windows all milky in the sun for a day. It cut right through the film and shined them right up. Easier with a rag than with paper towels though.

Agree with Moombadaze...........I always just use the wet towel to wipe down the outside and inside of the windshield clean after wiping the boat down. Did it with Babes and now with PBC. Takes all the waterspots and fingerprints off each outing. But I'm OCD

Be careful what you use on the Windows though. They look like automotive glass but they are not. They will scratch much easier. Don't use paper to clean or dry, don't use any abrasive things on then like you can normal Windows.
