My buddy just bought a 2008 XLV and we are trying to figure out where the rear seat back rectangular posts that hold up the cushion would be for the rear facing seat. Does anyone know where they are stored on the boat? The previous owner had no clue where they were. The seat back cushion has the slots for these posts, but we couldn't find the actual posts.

So that is what those holes are for!! We don't have the posts either. Post it if you find them or if someone has a photo.

I have mine and there were behind the drivers seat way up towards the bow, they are still in the oem packaging , never used them but will get you measurements this weekend .

I haven't looked there but never had a reason to. Now it makes sense why there is that nice cover over the V drive also.

Yes, plus it is much quieter with it on there. The new design left that open and the engine and v drive noise is much more

Thanks. We'll check, but otherwise the dimensions would be a great help.

Thanks for posting the pics. I do have those. I thought they were scraps from the tower and almost threw them away. Luckily my hoarding instinct kicked in.

Thanks for posting. I just sent the pics to Cynde at Atlanta Marine and have them on order.

I think it was like 30 or something like that. But they only had one left so I contacted the tower manufacturer and they sent it to me for free!
