I couldn't find my original thread about Allison's summer story and introduction to wake surfing and boating so I thought I'd start a new one with a update. Many thanks to those of you that helped her enjoy Texas and the Texas jam a few weeks back. The highlight of the trip for Allison was meeting Parker Payne and his family. He' is a young pro wake surfer that was at the Jam with his parents sporting a brand new SE550.

Parker posted this picture up on instagram morning and it absolutely shows her stoke.

Thank you everyone for sharing your wave with this gal. It's made a difference in her life.

Brian, we had a great time with the 3 of you. Allison looked like she was having a blast, and I'm glad we could share the TX weather & water with her.

I don't think I'll ever forget the moving #floatilla

Super great trip everyone. Many thanks to you all!

@Matt - totally a fun time on the float. I've never been on a 5 boat tie up and watched it drive up the river. And btw: your wife cracks me up. Every time we'd see you on the river, It was always her driving. And when I say driving... I mean "MASH the GAS", driving.

@Shane - Iphones and water just kinda happen to me. I went to the apple store on Monday and when the guy asked me about why my phone was water logged, I didn't have the heart to tell him, "Well Shane and me bailed off his boat cause we wanted to ride the big ass SE5550 wave so all the girls where left to drive and caught a big ass wave over the bow..." I just kinda shrugged and said, "I have applecare, can I can have new one please." :) Presto done!

@Tryson - Lets do it!

Great times for all! cant wait till next year... Allison's already counting the days.

If that doesn't prove the need for Exile Buoy Balls, nothing will.

@Flotilla - that picture is pretty funny because thats Allison standing on the end of the swim platform. Every day I think that girl was on "alligator" alert.

@smoke - I'll msg parker on instagram tonight and ask him. I believe he's got 1500lb sacks on either side. Which would make sense.. because the wave was WOWZOR. Best wave I've ever ridden hands down. Long and strong and tons of power.

You may need to reach out to his dad Mark. Should be able to contact him through Facebook. Or Drew may pipe in and answer. I believe his daughters have spent some time on Parker's boat.

Yes! That is correct. If I'm not mistaken he has the Enzo 1500lbs sacs plug and play.

Yep, just had dinner with the Payne family. Getting kids ready for Wakesurf Natls this weekend.

Enzo sacs in Paynes SE. I replicated with sacs under the seats in addition to the stock liquid lead ballast in our SG.

Probably sink your boat. Remember he's got an SE -- hence a few more feet than you boys are playing with. It's a BIG boat!
