depth gauge

Is it possible to turn off the depth gauge? I've got the Moomba Digital Cruise. I have a noise under the helm and can't figure out where it's coming from. I'm trying to eliminate different possibilities.

I think you have to pull the ground or power. They are a simple on off based on voltage to the unit.
