Hey guys,
I am thinking of getting my wife a women's specific surf board. She has recently showed more interest in surfing and I'd like to encourage/ make it as easy as possible for her to enjoy it. She is 125 lbs and 5'6" tall. She is athletic and is very comfortable on a wake skate. She does not have any surfing experience but can get up and stay on the rope, although she has a bit to go in leading the wave and her positioning on the board. She is currently using a hyperlite broadcast and does ok, but I suspect the board's size is making it a little more difficult.
I have no idea on whether I should put her on a skim or surf style board.
Let me know your thoughts.
