Guys with Ram Trucks, what conversations and guidance have you received from your local dealer? Your truck getting repaired or is the dealer buying it back? If buyback, what are the terms?
I like my Ram and would like to keep it, as long as the dealer can repair the steering issue. Going to see the dealer this coming week.

This gives some insight as what you should be able to do under the agreement:

I'm glad this was fixed after the 12 models.
Looks like you can keep the truck and they have to replace your steering and suspension, but it allows the people who are sick of their trucks to sell it back.

if it's a true buyback, then betting you will see an influx of used rams on dealer lots with not the same ratio of new ram sales. bet this could affect resale and new truck pricing on dodge lots for the next 6 months...

quick look and what I saw was it was 2008-2010 2500's and 3500's---not the 1500 models. hopefully that is true. Give the owners the option to have fixed or sell back for current book value+10%, then they would fix and resell

Mines on the list and I've opened a claim. Waiting to hear back. From talking to the Chrysler rep, it sounded like the media knew about it before Chrysler did. They were scrambling trying to figure out what to do. I haven't heard back.
