but i cannot find the zerk? I looked and felt around pretty hard for a while and convinced myself there isnt one. 2002 mobius lsv. Where is the damn ass thing?

Not sure what shaft your referring too?

On my 02 the only grease fitting I recall was for the rudder, in the bilge area on the rudder housing.

AHHHH i should have specified, i am indeed looking for the zerk on the rudder shaft. I was looking and feeling around there for literally 20 minutes, couldnt find a damn thing. Specifically, feeling directly under the engine on the shaft, where the steering cable attaches to the rudder.

I guess my main question here, is were there ever moombas that didnt have a zerk here? Either im looking for something that isnt there or im dumber than i think.

There are a lot of them without the zerk. I'd stop looking.

There was a fitting on my 02 LSV about an inch or two right where the rudder shaft enters the dry side of the hull. It was the only fitting I was aware of.

seriously! I was almost afraid to open this thread when my wife and kids were in the room. The comment about Dusty's mom was pretty good though..:)
