What's the weight difference for the riders on Nubstep vs. Big Step.
Riders over 200-225 need to get the bigger one?

I have the nubstep and I am 5'10 and 165. it's a great board for me. My buddy can ride it at about 220, but it's really pushing the limits honestly. There's 3 parts to the equation: rider skill, board, and wave. 2 of those can compensate for the 3rd a little. So my friend's skill is really compensating for the smaller board size...

That said, we have another board that's made that's for the bigger riders, a board that's suited for those 220 riders and they've had a lot more success on that than my 4'6 nubstep.

so yeah, I'd say that for a rider that's in that 220 range the bigstep would for sure be the best choice. Probably even for riders around 200, I'd look at the bigstep and have Brock walk me through whether the 4'8 or the 5'0 would be the better choice (or even some other custom length, as that's a big jump from 4'8 to 5'0...

I am about 190 and I ride a Nubstep and kind of wish it was a little bigger, i find it easy to submarine the front of the board if you are not really careful.

I got my DW drone in a 4' 8" for that reason.

Can I try it out in about 10 days?

Drone is at 4-10. Would that work for riders around 225ish?
Is that a wider board?

It's a .25 wider than the 4' 6" board mine was custom so I got 4'8"

You can have them make a custom board just for your specs. Call Brock at DW
