Hey guys been a while since I posted ...Looking at trading in my 14 Mondo without a surf system of any kind and without the raptor motor. I will probably be taking a ride on a Craz this weekend and was wanting a little bit of input on how this boat is gonna ride in chop. We have recently moved and now I am gonna be in the main lake for about a 15 min ride to my spot and I'm finding out that the mondo just isn't going to " cut it" ... see what I did there :)... My question is... has anyone who has rode in this boat done it during busy times and what was the over all feel of the boat going across choppy water... as well as, I am currently just listing the boat with 900 in the rear 500 in the floor 750 in the nose and then throwing about another 700 on the seats. The new Autoflow 2.0 from what I'm reading is going to give me a lot longer wave then what im use to? Just a few questions before I pull the trigger .. My local dealer is giving me a hell of a deal on a Craz but my biggest concerns are the ride and the wave!
Thanks,
Josh

Been riding on a Craz for most of the summer and it handles chop very well. We've had it out at peak times and it handled it like a champ. The auto-flow 2.0 is a huge improvement as well, you can have a clean wave on both sides without moving any weight around. Just weight it down evenly (all full) and then engage it. It's incredibly simple and works well. Not to mention the larger wake plate allows you to plane the boat with a lot more weight for wakeboarding, it makes a difference for sure.

Not many have been out one yet, but my prediction is that you will be a Craz owner immediately following your water test. Looking forward to hearing how it goes!

Is the hull a shorter version of the 15 mojo hull or a old supra mold or what?

You should take your checkbook with you... just sayin..

The ride thru the chop was the first thing I noticed, it was very smooth... The surf wake was awesome. The handling was impressive. I had the ballast fully loaded including upgraded rear sacs and I could not get any prop cavitation.

The Craz is a 22ft boat and the 15 Mojo is 23ft. The hulls are based on the '15 and below SA hull, to my understanding.

The Photo shoot boat had 900's. That is the one I was in all day.

The only thing about adding bigger bags for me is taking up more storage. I am just adding Leadwake bags. #300 on each side in rear lockers. It's a little more expensive, but no extra fill time and save on storage.

Lead is the way to go if you want to save storage space for sure

Unfortunately, I've only been out once since I purchased it. Just got back from vacation today. I should be getting out quite a bit over the next few weekends, so I'll try to remember to provide an update.

The 1 time I got out was on a lake with lots of tubes. I will be hitting the river in 2 weeks which is always calm!
