Sick of having to put the light tower up when it gets dark out on my 02 LSV. I want to add the tower light but am wondering if anyone else has done this? Ill have to drill the middle of the knob (technical term) where the rope attaches and am just wondering if i should know anything about doing this before i take a drill bit to my tower. Any advice from someone who's been there?

I've wanted this too but I'm thinking that the mod work to put it on top of the tow point isn't worth it. I'm going to build a little pole/tube and mount it on the tower tube in front of the tow point. I think someone here just did something similar.

Tow point. Thats the term i was looking for.

Check out this little guy, might be the best option for us if drilling through the tow point isnt the best move

I bought this for my older supra and worked awesome for years. Just push a button in the evening and good to go.

I just purchased the Wireless Wakeboard Tower LED Navigation light off Ebay. Best $70 bucks spent, just when getting dark push the button and good to go.

I didn't put in on my LSV i had it on my old 90 Supra. Of course it takes a battery but i had in on there a few years and never changed the batteries.

Yep thats what i wanna do. so the tower is open below the tow point and you are able to fish a wire through there? Another way to ask this is you drilled through the tow point and and the tube was open?

yea, I drilled right through the top were the metal cap screws in. It goes down into the open tube. Then I drilled a small hole in the tube and fished the wire through. You can not get through the cross bar that goes from the rear tube to the front tube.
