Felt like a rookie today! We invited the mother in law, brother in law and his 2 kids out on the boat this morning. Got to the launch and realized that my wife left the key in the ignition and in the accessory position, yup dead battery. My brother in law has a big Catty so he was able to pull down a side me on the ramp abs get the boat running. My wife says the bilge is running. I am like oh crap i forgot to put the plug in and unstrap the transom straps. Had pull the boat back out of the water and drain the bilge which took about 5 mins. However it turned out to be a great day on the water. I also confirmed the bilge pump works. Wow did I feel stupid.
