Just had my third go with the new mojo. My current setup which seems closest to surf able with what I have. port v full and half bow. wake plate 3/4. I am using the Lf fish surf board. Im 5'8-9 185-190. I have 3 150's I was going to add under seat along port side but my tsunami pump end was smoked. If I pump the board enough I can surf the wave a little. standing I get moments of push. seems I get more push closer to swim platform. running at 10.6 speed.

Im just looking to be surf-able right now with out upgrading bags. with the 150's Ill move to 850 on the port side. The thing i don't quite understand is the wake plate. I know one shortens the pocket and other way lengthens it, right? thanks

Plate all the way up with make it steeper, plate all the way down will make it longer.

To be honest, you probably won't be happy with the wave until you add some weight... Around 900 on surf side rear, center full and an IBS (650+). It only gets better from there if you add more weight. Adding the flow down the road will be a major plus as well, can add height and length... And makes goofy surf able.

Yeah I couldn't imagine trying to surf goofy side without the flow ... our wave is totally washed out

Surf side full, hard tank full, if you have bow sac but only stock rear you might not want to use it.

Also slow to 10-10.4 wake plate all the way up.

This should help running pretty stock set up

Thanks all! I'll apply input and see what I get.

So applied some more weight, but forgot a bag at home. Added 300lbs to port side under seat. So totaled 700lb. Front ins full at 400 and went down to 9.9 speed. This was the closest I've got to rope less. Was able to ride the wave for 15 to 20 secs at a time. Pocket was close to platform so had trouble staying in it. Wake plate was 75-100%. Didn't seem to change the pocket much.

I'm gonna add the other 150 to see how that helps, then look to up grade locker bags.

Thinking of going to 750's. How much room is left in the locked when 750's r full?

You need a minimum of 900 in the locker preferably 1100 with a 370 tube sack under the seats. Mojo will not preform well without lots of weight!

Well then. I have a 325 sumo I'll test under the seat and fill all 3 150s so that would put me at 1175 with my 400 locker full.

Shane,
What's your current ballast set up? Coming from an outback, this is a big upgrade so I'm kinda lost with the ballast set up. Thanks

1100 in both lockers, 370 tube sac plumbed in under port seats. Hard tank and 750lb ibs.

I run 1100 in surf side, 900 in off side. Also have 750 ins. I find much better push with a an additional 400 surf side now on top of cushions. I also have the 370 but found that with the flow I don't need it. With the above setup I have great push. Fill 1100 , IBS and 400 on top. I fill the offside 900 and dump until it cleans up ( usually about 70%). This works well with flow for me. Run about 11 mph

thanks for all the input guys! I was able to go ropeless! only for a short stint until I lost the pocket. when I had rope, I was surfing the wave for good periods. I am finally getting the whole foot pressure on the board down and its made a big difference. I ran 1175 port rear and 400 ibs up front. I am upgrading to 1100 rears and have a 325 sumo Ill keep under port seat. The feeling of not having the rope was a blast. I was grinning ear to ear:cool:
