Gravity 1 ballast pump

I'm not nearly good enought yet to start using the center ballast, but I would like the system to work if need be. When I first bought it, the pump would not empty. Wasn't a bit deal and had the dealership look at it when they winterized it. They said it was something electrical but the pump was fine. Now it will the pump will run to empty, but not fill. The one in the locker runs when I flip the switch to empty. Is there another one somewhere? And if so, where?

on an 08 you'll have a pump to fill and a separate pump to drain. The drain pump is the one in the locker, the fill pump will be in the v-drive area.

Sometimes you get an airlock situation where you need to force water in and air out. You can try running about 15 to 20 MPH and turning the pump on. Usually the extra force from the moving boat along with the pump will be enough to push the air through and let the pump prime. If that doesn't work you may have to clean your sprinkler valve.
