I would lke to replace the oil in my boatmate trailer buddys (circa 2003 trailer). It calls for 50 weight oil. I can find 10w-50, or 75wt transmission oil. Does anyone know where I can source 50 weight, or if the other weights will work.
Thanks in advance?

Autozone and Adavanced Auto both stock Valvoline VR1 50W around here.

I'm not sure, but know there are a lot of people that do it.

I get mine at Autozone. Ask for "straight weight 50 SAE". Sometimes it's in the back.

Parts houses keep it in the back. It's a racing motor oil weight
